Welcome to the National Governmental Prayer Alliance. At the announcement of our birth as a nation in July of 1776, the Liberty Bell was rung. It is inscribed with the powerful declaration from Israel’s Year of Jubilee found in Leviticus 25:10: “Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof.” When our forefathers shaped the government of America, they did so using Isaiah 33:22: “For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us.” Using the three descriptive titles of God in this verse (Judge, Lawgiver and King) they shaped our three branches of government: Legislative, Judicial and Executive.  Born under the shadow and decreed of Jubilee’s freedom – and governed with a system patterned after God Himself – what a heritage! Though anti-Christ forces want to steal this Godly heritage and make us a secular nation, they have not and will not succeed. God, through the prayers of the church, is turning the tide. The NGPA exists to inform, motivate, and coordinate this praying army that refuses to give away America’s destiny. Join us! Together, we will raise up an army of intercessors on behalf of our blessed nation to see the Kingdom of God established to a greater degree and to see His will be done in the United States of America, even as it is in heaven! Networking together with many other organizations and individuals within the body of Christ, the NGPA will serve as a clearinghouse for information on the activities of our three branches of government at the national and state levels, enabling the body of Christ to pray more effectively and act responsibly and proactively to see governmental change. We will not only gather and distribute this information, but will teach and train on effective intercession. We will make every attempt to be prophetic and proactive as opposed to responsive and defensive in our prayer activities. The NGPA will facilitate regular statewide, regional and national prayer gatherings and conferences for the purpose of training and activating the body of Christ toward more effective governmental intercession. The NGPA will advocate active participation in government from voting to support of our elective officials and providing encouragement and education to those desiring to run for office.
